( THE BRIEF )

The challenge

A rendering studio's website is its showreel. Buyers judge the studio on image quality within seconds, so the images had to carry the site. Yet large, high-resolution images are exactly what makes most portfolio sites slow, and a slow showreel undercuts the very quality it is trying to prove.

The second problem was choice. The studio offers six distinct services to buyers with different goals: planning approval, design clarity, off-plan sales and remote viewing. An architect preparing a planning submission needs something very different from a developer selling homes before they are built. The site needed a clear way to steer each visitor to the right service and on to a quote or free test render.

The client

Realistic 3D is an architectural visualisation studio. It creates photorealistic exterior and interior CGI, 3D animation, Matterport virtual tours, 360° VR/AR experiences and product renders for architects, property developers, builders and agencies across the UK and Australia.

This 3D rendering studio website design case study shows how Xenishio Arc built a custom WordPress theme and block plugin that lets the studio's work sell itself, and guides each kind of buyer to the service that fits their goal.

What we built

We designed a dark, gallery-like site where the work does the talking. A near-black canvas makes renders look their best, the way a cinema dims the lights before the film starts.

The homepage opens on a full-screen render with a gold-accented headline and two CTAs (Get a Quote / Explore Our Projects). It then moves through a featured-projects slider, six service cards with "ideal for" tags, an outcomes section ("Stop losing bids to better-presented competitors"), an embedded Matterport tour, a four-step brief-to-render process, animated stats, testimonials, blog posts and an FAQ. Each section answers a question buyers have before they commit: is the quality there, is this for me, what will it achieve, and how does it work?

The Services page adds a "find the right visual for your goal" selector and a tabbed service explorer, so visitors start from the outcome they need rather than from industry jargon. Photos and Videos gallery pages, individual project case pages and a dedicated free test-render landing page support conversion. A free test render is a low-risk first step for a buyer who has never worked with the studio before.

Each page has its own keyword-targeted SEO title, and cookie consent is granular and opt-in: analytics and advertising load only after a visitor says yes.
