( THE BRIEF )
The challenge
A multi-property hotel group has to sell several very different stays (airport, city, mall-side, nature retreat) under one brand. A business traveller landing at Dubai Airport and a family heading to a rainforest resort in Kerala want completely different things, yet both should feel they are dealing with the same trusted group.
The group also wanted to win direct bookings back from online travel agencies. Bookings through an OTA carry a commission, and the guest relationship sits with the agency instead of the hotel. That meant a single, fast booking flow covering every property, clear property-by-property selling points, visible member rates and offers, and content in more than one language for an international audience.
The client
Since 1999, Flora Hotels has offered "affordable luxury" to leisure, business and family travellers. The group runs three properties in Dubai (Al Barsha, Dubai Airport/Garhoud, Deira Creek) and three in Kerala, India (Kochi Airport, Vythiri rainforest resort, Athirappilly waterfalls). Rooms range from standard rooms to suites and self-catering hotel apartments.
This hotel website design case study covers the booking-first WordPress site Xenishio Arc built for the group: one brand, six properties, two countries and more than one language.
What we built
We built a booking-led site around a persistent Select Property / Book Now header, so the next step is never more than a click away. The booking widget lets guests pick a destination (UAE or India) and property, then dates, rooms, adults, children and promo or corporate codes, and shows the "10% off for members" incentive at the point of choice. Putting the member discount inside the widget, rather than on a separate page, gives guests a reason to book direct at the moment they are comparing prices.
The homepage pairs a lifestyle hero slider ("Discover A World In Harmony") with per-property "Why choose" panels showing location highlights and aggregated guest-review scores, a member-benefits carousel, and a "Where to next?" destination grid.
Each property has its own landing page with a hero gallery, review badges, amenity icons, a room-type carousel with "Book now" on every card, member benefits, exclusive offers, an interactive map with nearby shopping and transport, an FAQ accordion and an awards section. Separate pages let each hotel target its own location searches, such as hotels near Dubai Airport or near Kochi Airport.
Group pages cover the Flora Story, Meetings & Events, Special Offers and Careers. A WPML language switcher serves the international audience, and reservations run through the Mirai booking engine.
